Your Day-to-Day:



  • The primary function of this position is to provide on the floor technical support for IFBA personnel and manufacturing process. This includes troubleshooting of process issues as they arise as well as routine equipment maintenance/rebuild. The position will also lead projects and/or work with area engineering and management toward completion of projects to improve the process.
  • Daily technical support of IFBA production Monitor product quality and process equipment performance against approved operating instructions, specifications and drawings. Proactively identify and troubleshoot process upsets/underperformance. Address equipment issues as they arise. Regularly communicate status to area personnel.
  • Manage spare part inventory Rebuild and/or procure spare parts, as needed. Maintain appropriate inventories of spare parts to ensure continued equipment availability while minimizing stagnant inventory.
  • Train/assist operators Train area personnel, as needed, to foster a deeper technical understanding of the process. Assist area personnel with more technical aspects of daily operation as directed by management.
  • Area improvement Lead efforts to identify and complete improvement initiatives in the area based on management priority. Continuously monitor and challenge the status quo to identify opportunities for further improvement. Provide input for prioritization of improvement opportunities.


Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • Associates degree in an engineering related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Three years chemical operations experience.
