Your Day-to-Day:

  • Ownership for the monthly Inventory forecasting and execution cycle, aligned with SIOP, for assigned sites inventory. This includes the identification and completion of inventory reduction initiatives that support our WEC financial targets, and working in partnership with SIOP Supply Managers to ensure alignment to SIOP demand forecast.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a detailed inventory Playbook for each WEC site that accurately defines the sites PFEP, Product Positioning Strategy, Replenishment Design, and Model Inventory. This includes working in partnership with the SIOP Supply manager to select replenishment models, calculate and revalue of min-max math, management of discrete planning parameters and other items as needed.
  • Assist in the Global deployment of consumption base planning and Pull systems, including the deployment MRP-based tools and world class third party software. This responsibility incudes the identification of items conducive to Pull, design of the Pull System, and ongoing maintenance of the parameters to align replenishment with SIOP demand.
  • Assist in the annual execution of the Global Segmentation, PFEP, and Replenishment Design cycles, aligning within and between sites globally, ensuring that all details are documented in the Inventory Playbook
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Maintain a proactive and disciplined approach to serving the sites that he/she serves, including being responsive to all requests and needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication linkages with the sites that he/she serves to ensure full engagement and support of inventory playbook.
  • Work closely with WEC Finance leaders to manage inventory E&O, Aging, and Forecasting.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance or a related field required
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of business experience related to manufacturing, finance, planning or operations associated. Large manufacturing operation preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a manufacturing location
  • APICS CPIM or plan to achieve
