If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced ATF Materials Engineer in the Global ATF Technology group.

Your Day-to-Day:

- Lead or support development of advanced materials and manufacturing processes for commercial nuclear
reactor fuel to enhance safety and fuel cycle economics.
- Lead or support material testing programs in a test lab environment, and/or work with external testing laboratories related to development of Accident Tolerant Fuels.
- Perform development and benchmarking of predictive models for irradiation behavior of reactor materials.
- Interface with customers, national labs and universities for collaborative development programs to develop advanced materials.
- Participate or lead large multidiscipline groups or teams to
accomplish desired business objectives. This person may also be required to develop and deliver presentations to
communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products.


Minimum Requirements:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant industry experience, including strong experience in irradition testing programs of nuclear materials.
  • Masters Degree in Engineering Materials or equivalent. PdD preferred, and may be substituted for industry experience.
  • Experience and expertise in developing and testing materials for nuclear fuel applications is preferred.
