  • Responsible for all project controls activities for moderate complexity project, a portfolio of low complexity projects, or for a subset of high complexity projects or programs scope.
  • Lead teams through all phases of a high complexity project.
  • Serve as a project controls subject matter expert and mentor junior members of the project controls team. Must have advanced skills in communication, cross‐cultural awareness, and leadership.
  • Project executing, monitoring and controlling: Lead schedule, cost, and/or risk activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups.
  • Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process.
  • Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including Estimate at Completion updates and Earned Value Management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements.
  • Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.
  • Promote teamwork and effective communication, which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status.
  • Develop or oversee project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
  • Clearly communicate required information in a timely manner: Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Westinghouse‐defined equivalency
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline
  • 6 or more years of project controls experience.
  • Preferred: 6‐12 years project controls experience in the position functional/technical area.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Concepts.
