We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Project Manager. In this position, Advanced Project Manager can expect to be responsible for the following:

Responsible for all project management processes on projects/programs from conceptual design through construction and systemization into an operating chemical and manufacturing plant for medium complexity projects.

Project Manager will develop and maintain project charters and budget acquisition requests, PM plans, scope statements, detailed project schedules, and project budgets for one or more projects of relatively low complexity.

Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and managing all aspects of the project to ensure the project objectives are met on time and on schedule using a matrixed team of plant personnel and contractor personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
* Minimum 8 years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion (3 years in technical/engineering role and 2 years as project manager may be considered as equivalent);
* Preferred: 6 -10 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as mining, manufacturing, chemical, or nuclear with demonstrated experience in implementing complex projects from concept to full operational implementation in an operating facility.
* Must have demonstrated experience in establishing and managing the entire work breakdown structure required for complex heavy industrial projects from engineering and construction through full systemization and turnover to operations in an operating facility with multiple system interfaces and regulatory requirements. Project experience must demonstrate project complexity with multi-faceted disciplines including chemical, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and controls in an operating facility.
* Must have strong technical background and demonstrated leadership, communication, strategic thinking and problem solving skills to be able to assess and manage projects effectively across diverse teams.
*Project history must demonstrate effective management in challenging work environments with limited outages and multiple constraints for coordinating construction and installation work activities to minimize impact on operational activities.
* Familiar with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)’s Project Management Body of Knowledge. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or other approved equivalent.
