The ASME Control Center Field Engineer position is a Construction support position. They are required to produce the deliverable items listed below, while at the same time, interface with construction field engineering in the plant on a daily basis. They are responsible to:
- Perform review of all ASME Work Packages
- Assist Construction in working to the Work Packages
- Prepare and issue welded/bolted connection sketches
- Prepare installation data reports
- Review hydro-test packages
- Verify N-5 Data/Information
- Prepare stress reconciliation packages
- Prepare N-5 data reports
- Assist in Work Package closure
- Resolving unplanned emergent field hardware and/or documentation issues.

Minimum Requirements:

For this position, experience is generally more valuable than education.
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with ASME Section III requirements (or Section XI at a Utility) is preferred. (e.g., Utility, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, procedure writing, Quality Control) or,
- Associate with 1 year construction field experience or,
- 3 years of construction field experience or,
- A Bachelor degree.
- A minimum of 2 years field construction experience or 1 year working with ASME XI with a Utility at a Nuclear Plant.
- Proficient at reading and understanding drawings and specifications.
- A persistent about attention to detail.
- A propensity for working out in the field on occasion with a strong respect for complete and correct documentation
