If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Capture Manager on the Westinghouse Government Services Business Development team in our Arlington, VA office.

Your Day-to-Day:

Opportunity Creation, Identification, Qualification, and Management
o Create new market position and opportunities for Westinghouse.
o Identify and assess opportunities and present a business case for pursuit, using a formal decision gate process.
o Manage opportunities in the Westinghouse sales funnel.
o Track and report on procurement status.

Opportunity Capture
o Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, and develop win strategies.
o Assess technical execution strategies - Lead and/or participate in white paper development.
o Manage a customer and industry communication plan for each opportunity.
o Develop capture budget.
o Develop price-to-win strategies.
o Assess contract risk and develop a risk mitigation strategy.
o Identify key personnel and secure them during the capture effort.
o Develop and negotiate Non-disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.

o Ensure Westinghouse is positioned in the community and understands the needs and concerns of all stakeholders.
o Develop and execute a winning teaming strategy.
o Align messaging with critical customer needs and key corporate strategies/capabilities.
o Constant customer contact to develop relationship and build an information advantage.

Proposal Delivery
o Act as primary point of contact between the Proposal Manager and technical solutions team (SME’s).
o Ensure capture intelligence and strategies are included in the proposal.

Knowledge Management
o Develop detailed project descriptions that provide compelling and relevant project experience and performance information.
o Manage a knowledge base of corporate capabilities, technologies, experience, and resources.

Other business development duties as assigned by the Vice President, Business Development & Strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field or business-related degree.
  • 10+ years experience in business development or capture management, pursuing large Federal contracts - specifically, Department of Energy.
