Compensation & Benefits Consultant is to work within China HR team with focus on China compensation and benefit administration including:
•China Payroll and local incentives
•Local employees’ social insurance and housing fund programs and employee welfare
•Benefits enrollment and personnel records maintenance
•Compliance with payroll, insurance, tax, and other regulations and requirements
•Monthly local employees’ payroll preparation for WEC China, WEC China Beijing Branch, WIPICO China, and vendors for contractors, including: collecting salary related data from employee, HRG, vendors, SAP and updating the payroll for the month
•Working with vendors (ADP, FESCO) for employee’s salary, IIT, Social Insurance, Housing Fund related issues and inquiries
•Preparing annual salary review by putting together all local employees’ salary data and provided to HRGs for recommendation, then updating the payroll with incremental information. Meanwhile, assisting the HRGs in Korea and Japan in this regard.
•Work with Finance for annual cost budget by providing local employees’ costs data; meanwhile, work out the HR team budget annually together with the counterpart in the headquarter.
•Review the HR budget against the actual spends monthly and analyses the reasons for cost variance
•Participating the market annual salary survey and support HRGs in interpreting the market report
•Providing Cartus the expats’ IIT data in China monthly
•Reviewing annual commercial insurances for all entities in China to make sure the insured employees’ information are correct, including on and off-board date to avoid over charges from the insurance company;
•Review the insurance policies and agreements and make necessary adjustments to better benefit the employees and company without significant cost increase
•Local employees’ annual physical check renewal and coordination
•Collecting and document local employee’s employment related documents
•Participating in the meeting with JV HRM and provide necessary help to JV
•Supporting hiring process by providing salary related data and the offer proposal
•Providing employee cost data to HRGs for making business decisions
•Supporting the headquarter for China local employees’ payroll information checking
•As the focal point, contacting the vendors (AonHewitt. Taiping Insurance, FESCO Beijing and Shanghai) for employee’s benefits issues related to commercial insurance claims, employee benefits distributions, and social insurance/housing fund.
•Helping employees in their account transfer and even close for social insurance and housing fund.
•HR operational supports in Beijing on behalf of HRGs including meeting/training/events arrangements and coordination.
•Greeting HR guesses or candidates in Beijing on behalf of HR team, and providing necessary supports in hiring process
•Answering employee’s inquiries related to HR policies and regulations mainly on HR practices like OT, SS, IIT etc.
•Assisting NPB and WECTEC in project personnel transformation and termination processes.

Minimum Requirements:

Holding an academic degree preferable in Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance combined with at least 10 years’ experience working with HR in an international company.
•Strong analytical skills, an eye for details as well as a keen interest in gaining further knowledge within C&B.
•Integrity and professional ethics
•Fluent English language skills
•Proven communication and interpersonal skills with various functions and levels of the organization
•Strong Analysis knowledge and learning aptitude
