Fabricate, install and weld pipe, duct, sheet metal and structural components in an operating commercial manufacturing facility. Move, assemble and install all types and sizes of machinery and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Fit, cut, bend, grind, thread, torch and weld metal and other materials in accordance with engineered drawings and specifications.
  • Assemble pipe, duct, machinery and structural members in fabrication shop and plant locations.
  • Transport, rig and hoist materials and equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Plan and estimate jobs, estimate and order commodity materials.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to demonstrate basic mechanical skills in pipefitting and fabrication, construction blue print reading.
Capable of obtaining and maintaining welder qualification, and weld inspector qualification, per site welding program requirements (AWS and B31.3 codes).High school graduate or equivalent
3 years related experience in commercial construction or fabrication.
