Westinghouse Steam Generator Services is in search of a Field Service Engineer with an electrical engineering, software engineering, or computer science background at our Waltz Mill site in Madison, PA.

This position will be a multi-faceted position with a focus on achieving and maintaining certification as a qualified data analyst (QDA) with the minimum certification of Level II-A.
• The position will be tailored to fit the successful candidate’s background, and will support steam generator services projects via supporting design, testing and development start to finish, ensuring quality, costs, and schedules are maintained and communicating with management, vendors and the customer.
•Utilize engineering knowledge to design, install, startup, test, and/or maintain product systems used in steam generator services.
• Prepare and review technical documents including writing procedures, specifications, purchase requisitions, proposal inputs, cost estimates and various other documents
• Once qualified, resource will be responsible for support Steam Generator Eddy Current testing through the following actions:
- Evaluate acquired Steam Generator inspection data utilizing prescribed examination technique to identify any damage mechanisms in Steam Generator tubing
- Support of the lead analyst in the develop data acquisition and data analysis sheets, (ETSS) for each inspection. This includes defining the essential variables necessary for both data acquisition and data analysis.
- Support lead analyst in the development of Eddy Current analysis guidelines for each inspection, as required.
• Participate on field implementation teams.
•Travel required up to 30%

Minimum Requirements:

•Meets one of the following two education requirements;
A. Graduate of a four year accredited Engineering or Science College or University with a degree in engineering or science
B. Completion with a passing grade of at least two years of study at a university, college, or technical school and a minimum of 8 years of working experience
• Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of advanced engineering principles, concepts and practices.
• Well-developed communication skills with ability to explain and discuss complex technical information with all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following areas;
A. Net programming, C/C++ programming (Microsoft Visual Studio a plus), or java programming (Eclipse IDE a plus), servo control systems, Familiarity with control systems hardware engineering, Familiarity with PLC Logic and PLC Hardware
