Your Day-to-Day:
  • Implement standards contained in Westinghouse "Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct." Ensure that all employees reporting to this position are informed about the standards and related policies, and enforce them within this supervised activity.
  • Develop and maintain consistent and standard processes for Global Accounts Payable across multiple international locations.
  • Foster a productive relationship with current global outsourcing partner for the processing of supplier invoices
  • Lead or support projects to improve internal controls, quality, delivery and/or cost of services
  • Bring innovative thinking that will improve overall efficiency and support of processes and procedures globally.
  • Active participation and leadership on various projects associated with the global Procure to Pay value chain process
  • Provide leadership within the Global Accounting Shared Services organization with a focus on employee development.
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with General Accounting and Close, Internal Audit, Supply Chain globally.
  • Assist in annual SSC budget planning.
  • Work closely with auditors (internal and external)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with typically ten to fifteen years of professional experience in accounting, financial systems, auditing, and analysis, with relevant experience specifically with Accounts Payable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate accounting/transaction processing, internal controls and financial systems, primarily SAP and Ariba. Experience in leading effort and planning work of others.
  • MBA or CPA preferred but not required.
  • International travel is required.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of one or more areas of specialization to completion of complex and broad assignments.
