We currently have an exciting opportunity for a GPEx (Global Project Excellence) Installation Project Manager. In this position, a Installation Project Manager can expect to be responsible for the following:

• Coordination and integration of projects across multi-functional groups,
while monitoring and controlling metrics related to safety, quality,
schedule, budget and customer satisfaction.
• Obtaining results to routine technical problems.
• Identifying and recommending improvements in processes on continuing
basis and assist in implementation.
• Lead or contribute to integration and development of multi-million dollar
customer proposals including cost estimates, risk assessments and
technical descriptions.
• Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project
plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Provide periodic performance feedback to peers and project team
• Provide direct management oversight to engineers, technicians and craft
labor during project implementation.
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate the status, problem
resolution, recommendations of work/projects to appropriate internal and
external customers, as required.
• Provide expert knowledge within specific projects to peers, vendors, and
• Develop procedures, processes, and methods for implementing technical
requirements, as needed.
• Domestic and International Travel required
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to power

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

• A minimum of 6 years of related work experience
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to manage large, complex technical projects and demonstrated successful delivery of projects in the $3M-5M range with emphasis on safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Leadership skills in forming high performance teams and directing them to achieve assigned goals and objectives
• Ability to identify issues, assess alternatives and implement solutions
• Capable of managing multiple internal organizations in the successful delivery of projects
• Experience with risk management tools and processes
• Technical experience related to Nuclear installation and modification
• Experience working with a nuclear quality program compliant with 10CFR50 Appendix 8 and 10CFR21
• Microsoft Project or Primavera experience is desirable
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint experience is preferred.
• Experience in the Nuclear Energy industry - plant site experience is preferred but not required. Experience in heavy industrial design, power plants, and oil and gas industry is acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain Unescorted Access to Nuclear Power Plants.
