We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assembly Technician in our Lake Bluff Facility.

In this position, a (Job Title) can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Assembly of simple and complex prototype machines and systems used for service and maintenance activities for the nuclear and fossil power generation fleet during planned outages and emergent projects.
  • Working and formal knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is required.
  • Working with assembly, sub-assembly and individual parts drawings.
  • Procurement of parts from vendors and suppliers to support machine assembly.
  • Use of calibrated M&TE i.e. micrometers, calipers and other related measurement tools.
  • Experience with procurement programs such as SAP and ARIBA (will provide training as needed).
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as required by project demands
  • Possible travel to customer work sites based on complexity of the machine system and operation

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Documented work experience summary of 10 to 15 years with references
  • Formal training certifications are a consideration
  • Leadership skills
  • Basic computer skills using MS WORD and EXCEL
