We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Financial Analyst on our Finance – Global Instrumentation and Controls team at our global headquarters location in Cranberry Township, PA. The Lead Financial Analyst should expect to be responsible for the following:
• Direct and assist in day-to-day activities of financial forecasting, planning, and analysis in support of the Controller.
• Assign work and coordinate process work flows within the local Finance team.
• Lead the development of the annual business plan, including volume, capital, headcount, inventory, and cost center budgeting.
• Lead and assist in the preparation of periodic forecasting and financial update processes.
• Review the accuracy of business segment financial statements through analysis of posted transactions and knowledge of business activities.
• Attend and prepare information for project reviews, operations staff meetings and other key discussions in order to understand and support business operations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to operations and financial management.
• Assign research for technical accounting or financial questions and report results.
• Consolidate and communicate periodic reporting packages, including variances, financial results and management operations reporting.
• Provide input to the Controller for preparation of performance evaluations and development programs for Financial Analysts.
• Continuously improve business processes through process reevaluation, policy creation/update, and communication with key stakeholders.
• Comply with all corporate financial policies and support the performance of internal control activities.
• Support annual audit activities by responding to documentation requests and interview requests.
• Assist as requested in other financial and accounting activities as determined by the Controller.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• CPA or CMA designation is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years, preferably 6-7 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
• Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation desirable.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of Revenue Recognition Accounting for projects (ASC 605-35-25)
