We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Organizational Effectiveness - Columbia Field Operations at our Columbia, SC site. The Manager, Organizational Effectiveness will lead site licensing and related functions to ensure compliance and performance to requirements through effective organizational oversight and monitoring and will also be responsible for all program and processes related to site access, emergency preparation and response.

• Leads the licensing compliance function focused on continuous improvement of policies, procedures, processes, and integrated safety analysis to ensure the highest level of license compliance
• Working in conjunction with Regulatory Affairs, ensure strong regulatory engagement, including federal and state licensing agencies, building confidence in our ability to effectively manage and comply with all licensing requirements and record-keeping
• Ensures a robust oversight program to validate compliance with regulations, processes, procedures, and governances and identify performance gaps
• Develop and lead effective human performance and foreign materials exclusion program
• Leads continuous organizational monitoring through the corrective action process and organizational metrics management and trending to drive improvements
• Provide support for operating procedure development, maintenance, and systems oversight
• Ensures effective evaluation and integration of industry, external and internal operating experience
• Develop and maintain metrics to ensure visibility of business performance
• Leads proactive (Protective Services) and reactive (Emergency Response) program to ensure high level of event preparedness
• Drives proactive integrated approach to emergency preparation and security to mitigate the risk and impact of adverse events
• Leads Safeguards organization, ensuring accurate accountability and reporting of special nuclear materials.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree - Engineering preferred.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10 years of experience. 5 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Deep experience in quality programs management
  • Experience managing teams in large organizations and creating systems
  • Background and knowledge of management principles, practices and concepts
  • In depth project management skills
  • Understanding of purchasing and supply chain preferred
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Superior analytical and problem solving capability; exceptional communication, organization, and leadership ability; ability to flourish even when dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong business acumen
