We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer - ASME Control Center. This role on the ASME Vogtle site team will be focused on three major areas:
1. Westinghouse is the N-Certificate holder (overall responsible for meeting Code) for the domestic ASME Section III piping systems. To position Westinghouse to certify the ASME piping systems as meeting the Code requires oversight of the NA installer and engineering oversight to ensure deign requirements are being passed down and implemented appropriately.
2. The NA installer will generate ~120 partial N-5 data reports per domestic unit. Review and acceptance of those partial N-5 data reports and the acceptability of the final N-5 data reports. One of the primary responsibilities of this position is to review and accept the N-5 data reports for engineering.
3. There are approximately 1400 as-built piping and support drawings for each AP1000 domestic unit. The draft as-built drawings will be generated by the installer (NA certificate holder) and then provided to engineering for acceptance. Facilitating the process to archive as-built drawings is a primary responsibility of this position.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

* BS Mechanical Engineering Required
* Experience in the domestic AP1000 ASME as-built program, the AP1000 N-Certificate holder engineering oversight program, and familiar with the AP1000 piping system scope preferred.
