We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in our Innovation Organization. In this position, an Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:

• Apply basic engineering knowledge in support of design and analysis of portions of technical products and/or services related to specific routine technical assignments.
• Author and perform routine engineering design evaluations and analyses with guidance
• Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses with guidance
• Verify simple, routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified
• Interface, on a limited basis, with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
• Obtain results and resolve routine technical problems
• Identify and recommend improvements in processes or procedures and innovation projects and assist in implementation
• Identify and assist in development of new technical products, services and/or business opportunities with guidance
• Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within scheduler and budgetary requirements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks
• Support agile development, prototyping, and demonstrations within loosely-defined projects.
• Collaborate with peers on test programs and evaluate results.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

• B.S. in Engineering Required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with 3D models and designs preferred.
• Experience with ANYSYS ADPL and / or Workbench preferred.
• Strong Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) plants preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of applicable engineering experience preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects or tasks.
