We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Improvement Lead on our Nuclear Fuel Performance Improvement team at our Ogden, UT or Cranberry Township, PA locations. The Performance Improvement Lead should expect to be responsible for the following:

• Develop an understanding of the integrated picture of performance, which encompasses all quality data.
• Analyze performance NF and GC&M metrics to measure the conformance of the NF and GC&M Organization to the defined governance expectations.
• Focus, as a result of reviewing these metrics, is on ensuring clarity of actions/clear accountability to recover off-target metrics/performance.
• Develop a balanced picture of lower tier issues as well as those of higher significance requiring immediate actions.
• Communicate these results to NF and GC&M Leadership with the intent of driving accountability for improvement.
• Escalate performance trends and issue through NF and GC&M organization with urgency to quickly address issues prior to affecting product quality or customer satisfaction.
• Foster the mentality that continuous improvement is the “way we do business” by using the tools and mentoring others in the usage of the tools.
• Work within all levels of NF and GC&M Management to work as a “one Westinghouse” team, where roles and responsibilities in our organization and the organizations we interface with are clearly understood and consistently implemented.
• Accomplish required tasks without compromising independence and integrity.
• Demonstrate relentlessly focus on the documented standards of performance and remain intolerant of behavior that does not support this objective
• Perform plant tours and quality surveillances to verify conformance and identify nonconformances of WEC Quality, EHS, and NSC requirement.
• Note: Candidate may be required to travel to domestic and international sites.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent in technical area
Nuclear QA/QC experience preferable but not required.
Nuclear Safety culture working knowledge
Strong business knowledge and Nuclear Industry experience desired (10+ years of total work experience minimum)
Westinghouse CFL/MCFL training preferred.
Working knowledge of HU policies, procedures and tools
Working knowledge of CAP, CAPAL and Enterprise Reporting
Knowledge of WEC QMS and WGMS Procedures preferred
Knowledge of WMS preferred
