We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer located at our PaR Nuclear / Shoreview, MN facility. In this position, a Product Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:

- Support business development and the bid/offer process for PaR Nuclear.
-Support/assist the Product Manager in initiating technical conversations with customer and influencing their decisions and buying behavior.
-Review and verifies customer requests for offers and identifies scope of supply, requirements and time line.
-Work with the TIL in preparing offer strategy, technical content and market price.
-Travel to customer sites to discuss equipment issues, present potential solutions, and new offers. Travel may include international travel.
- Coordinate commercial interactions with our customers for all their nuclear facilities.
- Support marketing activities including capture planning, proposal review and issue, order entry, contract execution and closure.
- Assist in the resolution of commercially related challenges between our customers and PaR Nuclear ensuring that our customer’s needs are met in a manner consistent with WEC strategic and financial objectives.
- Support Region to product line liaison and oversight.
- Support Product Manager with commercial process activities, order implementation and control, and resolution of commercial issues associated with the customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain critical working relationships with customer personnel as point of contact for requests and in day-to-day communication, up to and including senior manager. Learn the customer’s organization, objectives, and expectations thoroughly and understand the customer’s economics.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of PaR Nuclear products & services, commercial ops, financial planning, and strategic objectives.
- Research customer needs and competitor information to support development of PaR Nuclear product improvements.
- Communicate customer technical requirements and Product Line strategy to Regional Teams.
- Support activities associated with opportunity management, capture planning, order acceptance, and project execution.
- Review/suggest corrections on information for the customer account in the CRM and SAP systems to the WEC Account Teams.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or established equivalent in Engineering or related technical/marketing discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years of applicable fuel handling equipment design experience (supporting equipment projects of low to moderate complexity, time critical activities, to successful completion). Or 5 years applicable experience as a field service installation lead managing schedule and the customer, experience in technical industry is preferred.
