Your Day-to-Day:
- Various Industrial Safety and Industrial Hygiene activities.
- Primary safety point of contact for operating departments.
- Provide oversight to ensure safe work practices, compliance with regulations etc.
- Manage specific programs such as; Contractor Safety Program, Plant Safety Committee, Scaffolds, Eye Wash/Safety
Showers, Medical Review and Early Intervention on industrial injuries.
- Evaluate injury data and corrective actions.
- Lead Accident Investigation teams.
- Conduct exposure monitoring for physical and chemical hazards.
- Serve as Project Manager for various safety projects.
- Conduct safety training to maintain compliance with OSHA standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

​• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene or safety engineering is required.
• Five (5) years of industrial safety experience is required; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office software is required.
• Professional certification in industrial hygiene or safety is preferred.
• A comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• Must be physically able to traverse a large and complex worksite including multiple level stairs and be able to work in hot and cold environments and wear respiratory protection.
• Occasional work on nights and weekends may be required as the plant operates 24 hours day/7 days a week.
