We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Vogtle Site ITAAC organization. In this position, a Senior Electrical Engineer can expect to perform the following duties:

* Act as the primary AP1000 project point of contact for the completion of Vogtle Units 3&4 ITAAC (Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria) for electrical and I&C components and systems.

* Plan, develop and deliver ITAAC Completion Package documents in partnership with the customer's project management. These demonstrate that the Inspections, Tests, and Analyses (ITA) were performed as planned and refer to the resulting documentation for the purposes of determining that the Acceptance Criteria (AC) have been met in full.

* Interact on a daily basis with Licensing and ITAAC counterparts at corporate offices and construction sites, Westinghouse AP1000 programs and functional groups, Vogtle Licensee/Owner-Operator (Southern Nuclear), and the NRC.

* Monitor design and license changes, non-conformances, conditions adverse to quality and associated corrective actions, and construction work packages for potential impacts on the ability to meet the AC in full (for ITAAC not yet completed) and on the conclusions that the AC have been met (for ITAAC that have been completed).

* Develop and execute the plans for performing the Inspections, Tests, or Analyses, documenting the results, and determining if the Acceptance Criteria of an ITAAC have been met.

* Represent the Licensee ITAAC organization during regulatory inspections as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

* Bachelors Degree or Higher in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering with progressive technical experience
* Must be able to obtain unescorted access to the controlled construction area
* Experience with digital instrumentation and controls in a commercial nuclear power plant as well as commercial electrical generation and distribution is preferred
* AP1000 experience is a preferred
* Commercial nuclear plant licensing requirements (including 10 CFR 50 and 52), regularity compliance and familiarity with both ITAAC and NEI-08-01 is a plus
* Experience with design engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and/or operation of commercial power plant electrical components and systems is a plus
