We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer in our New Stanton facility to support the Nuclear Parts Operations (NPO) group. The New Stanton site works on projects to enhance plant safety and reliability by providing the instrumentation and control, pumps and motors, and electro-mechanical products and services that our customers require. This position will support the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Product Group.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions for various Electro-Mechanical Products
• Development and/or maintenance of Material Master Data and Parts Baselines in SAP
• Determination of critical equipment characteristics to support equipment qualification and commercial dedication
• Assist in the development of equipment qualification test procedures, evaluate test results and review final reports
• Preparation of Commercial Dedication Instructions
• Development of Engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for various electro-mechanical products
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and shop operations for a variety of products

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related electro-mechanical discipline is required

* Minimum of 5 years experience of applicable experience.

* Proven knowledge and experience with electrical distribution systems, preferably with Low/Medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motors, and motor control centers.

* Previous experience in the nuclear industry, specifically in nuclear power plant safety / non-safety systems, IEEE Standards and EPRI NP-5652.

* A proven track record of effective written and verbal communication skills, including positive customer interaction skills required.

* Strong Project Management experience is desired with a proven track record of leading successful design teams involving multiple disciplines.

* SAP knowledge, especially Project Management and Material Master Data management is highly desired.
