Your Day-to-Day:
- As part of the Licensing Special Programs, we have an exciting opportunity for innovative licensing of the advanced non-LWR reactor designs and the AP1000 plant inspections and ITAAC.
- Act as a focal point for communication between Westinghouse (Global Technology Office) and the NRC on Advanced Reactor designs.
- Support preparation for NRC drop-in and pre-submittal activities on the eVinci micro-reactor design with the regulator.
- Perform / review regulatory gap analyses for advanced reactors.
- Determine regulatory requirements for advanced reactors for design organization to incorporate.
- Plan / schedule licensing activities for the advanced reactor designs
- Provide back-up function for AP1000 plant inspection and ITAAC interfacing with customer and NRC.
- Use interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and regulators to facilitate successful project completion.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in nuclear.
- Seeking an experienced professional with knowledge in Advanced (non-LWR) reactor design and interactions with
the DOE/DoD/NRC are a plus
- This is a highly interactive job, requiring excellent communication skills both written and oral with customers, regulators and internal on a variety of subjects.
- Technical leadership skills and project management abilities to effectively lead projects / task to completion.
- Willingness to learn regulations and Nuclear Industry Guidance, specifically on the developments in advanced reactor licensing.
- Capability of comprehending a complex process quickly.
