We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Field Service Engineer in out Madison, PA facility.

This posting is for a Mechanical Engineering position in the PWR Product group. This group is responsible for providing overall strategic product focus for Reactor Services, Fuel Services, and RCP Field Services as part of the Westinghouse Field Services organization. This group is also responsible for the design of long-handled tooling and provides subject matter expertise for various reactor related services.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing and/or participating on reactor services field projects and/or tooling design projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, costs, and schedules are maintained and communicating with management, vendors and the customer.
- Utilize engineering knowledge to design, install, startup, test, and/or maintain equipment and systems used in the operation of commercial nuclear reactors.
- Prepare and review technical documents including writing procedures, specifications, purchase requisitions, proposal inputs, cost estimates and various other documents.
- Design, test, and resolve issues on tooling and equipment.
- Present and negotiate complex technical solutions and commercial activities with customers.
- Interpret specifications and drawings and apply practical hands-on engineering skills to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Collaborate with engineering and experienced technicians to create and revise detailed procedures (may be operations, training, maintenance, qualification, test, or inspection) and technical manuals for work on equipment and systems.
- Assist with offer development for reactor services and equipment.
- Instruct customer personnel in proper operation and maintenance of specific equipment and systems, as defined in contract.
- Provide support to training by performing activities such as equipment modifications, equipment setup & testing, mockup preparation, process testing, & equipment & process qualifications if required.
- Participate on field implementation teams.
- Travel required up to 40%.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Typically 3-6+ years of experience
- Well-developed communication skills with ability to explain and discuss technical information.
- Good technical writing skills
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in 3D CAD; Inventor or SolidWorks preferred
- Unescorted Access to nuclear power plants is required.
