We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior NDE Sales Engineer in our WesDyne organization with the position being located in Windsor, CT.

WesDyne International specializes in the development and application of advanced non-destructive examination inspection equipment, and services for oil/gas distribution systems, aerospace components, reactor vessel, turbine generator and related systems. In this position, a NDE Sales Engineer will perform the following:

• Develop leads, quotations, and revenue streams for assigned growth markets in NDE equipment for standard and custom product sales across markets for NDE automated and manual equipment.
• Support sales activities across WesDyne in developing, delivering quotations, and closing on opportunities in assigned NDE markets for equipment as well as field service offerings.
• Develop relationships with potential customers across multiple NDE markets in support of growth opportunities for both service work and equipment sales.
• Provide interface to selected customers for initial sales and support (delivery/use), and system training on WesDyne NDE equipment.
• Provide voice of the customer inputs to manufacturing and engineering for improvements / changes to product line.
• Attend assigned conferences and trade shows to gather market data, find new opportunities, and develop strategies to address market forces.

• Customer facing activities:
– Proposal development / presentations
– Equipment demonstrations
– Develop NDE Problem solutions
– Closing on opportunities
– Provide selected training

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
• Skill Set required
– AS/BS physics, engineering, or materials science or equivalent NDE work experience
– Ability to travel to domestic and international (25%) customers and conferences
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDE Equipment sales and support for automated and manual equipment. Business development experience for growing revenue in new markets.

• Preferred Requirements
– Oil/gas and/or Manufacturing market NDE background
– Experience with multiple NDE equipment vendors
