We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer located in our Cranberry Township, PA office. In this position, a Senior Project Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:

1. Lead cross functional engineering teams (i.e. SCM, QA, Engineering, Licensing) to develop solution paths for emergent significant issues in support of Customer Contracts (China, Vogtle)
a. Develop project plans and schedule activities as part of issue closure plan
b. Lead issue team meetings and ensure deliverables and handoffs are executed per plan
c. Capture lessons learned at issue closeout and implement best practices
2. Drive and support preparation of technical resolution paths of assigned issues
a. Lead technical challenge meetings to define issue resolution (i.e. CIRT, TRB, etc.)
3. Possess both strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with peers and executive management
a. Including delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders
4. Must be results driven (high accountability/responsibility) to support and lead efforts in support of critical path schedule activities for project milestones
5. Develop effective working relationships across the organization and with Customers (internal and external)
6. Monitor and meet/exceed budget expectations for assignments
7. Support emergent Customer requests to resolve issues that arise during testing or construction (i.e. 24/7 duty phone rotation, PCC support, Customer calls)
8. Strong team member willing to be flexible and easily integrated to complete assignments within the Plant Engineering & Licensing (PEL) group
9. Travel requirements: 10-20% as needed

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Mechanical or Nuclear Engineer preferred.
2. Minimum 4 years of applicable engineering experience.
3. Knowledge of the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) plants.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Experience in making presentations and conducting meetings.
6. Candidates with prior plant operating experience is not required, but preferred.
