We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager in our Blairsville Facility.

In this position, the Team Manager II is responsible for leading the assigned department. This position reports directly to the site Department Manager.

•This position will work with other professionals in order to improve all aspects of production.
•Ensures a strong nuclear and industrial safety culture permeates the work environment.
•Ensures customer requirements for product quality and on-time shipments are met.
•Apply analytical skills to production or equipment issues within department and Plant-wide to initiate proper corrective action.
•Determine task performance/skill requirements. Evaluate employee skill levels, focus training plans on deficiencies, and reinforce employee development and training.
•Develops strong employee relations with the workforce.
•Effectively manages administrative processes for the area.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position must be able to work second and third shifts and will possess the following:

•High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
•Five or more years directly related experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Candidate must also be familiar with and/or have experience with lean manufacturing concepts.
•Candidate must also possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
•The candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to ensure multiple assignments are completed properly and on time and be able to effectively multi-task and handle changing work assignments, schedules, and priorities.
•Experience supervising in a union environment is a plus.
•Proficient use of Microsoft Office is required.
