Reporting to the manager of the Vulnerability & Incident Management group, the Vulnerability & Threat Analyst Lead will be responsible for proactively hunting and performing analysis of threats applicable to Westinghouse using available tools and information. Responsible for development/implementation of research/threat intelligence procedures and tools. Working within the Incident Response program on detection and within the IT organization on prevention. This position will also be responsible for primary support in the Vulnerability Management Program's tools and procedures, and leading remediation activities by coordinating with key IT groups.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Lead Development/implementation of threat intelligence procedures and tools.
• Lead vulnerability management program activities around scanning and reporting.
• Proactively hunting and performing analysis of threats applicable to Westinghouse.
• Lead consultation activities to Incident Response team on detection of threats, including rule creation/tuning within IR tools.
• Lead consultation with IT organization on vulnerability remediation and threat prevention.
• Provide primary support for vulnerability assessment tools and platforms.
• Provide backup support for Incident Response and SIEM platform as needed.
Provide technical consultation and participate in technical problem solving.

Minimum Requirements:

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

​•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Cyber Security/Forensics, Computer Engineering or equivalent
•Minimum of 3 years experience in identifying/remediating vulnerabilities, threat analysis, vulnerability scanning
•Practical experience with identifying, analyzing, and communicating cyber threat and vulnerability information
•Experience applying threat and vulnerability analyses models, including the LM Cyber Kill Chain, the Mitre ATT&CK Framework and the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS)
•Practical experience in operation and support of vulnerability scanning tools for network/system, and web application analysis
•Working knowledge of key IT concepts/technologies including: Microsoft Windows/Active Directory/Azure AD/Office365, Linux, networking, and web applications
•Practical experience and comfort in at least one scripting language such as: PowerShell, Python, or Ruby

Preferred Qualifications:

•One or more certifications such as: OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, or GWAPT
•Experience in mobile application development or security assessments
•Experience performing security assessments for Microsoft cloud technologies
•Experience in performing incident response or forensic analysis
